JANUARY:   We celebrate the new year with our first litter  Born January 29'th. of  FIVE females.  Our lovely BIS Princess Brie     was bred to Ch. Madselin Momentum  **Chase**   and we were so excited to an all female litter.  We thank

Susie Carbert  of  Madselin  Shelties for  taking such super care of Brie.

FEBRUARY:   We ventured over to Cloverdale for  a Dog Show and our SSCBC Dinner and Awards. 

CoastalView's Simply Duchess picked up her first points under Judges Mr.D Windsor and Mr. D Eadie.. BPIB/WB/ & WB/BPIB

MARCH:   Duchess stayed as a house guest with the Hambly's  to attend the Mt. Cheam Show in Chilliwack where she added some more points  adding up to 7 >> WB/BPIB with Handler  Robbie Hambly.  Thank you Judge Lucie Paradis.

APRIL:   *Austin*   CoastalView's Smoking Hot  picked up a BPIB at the Chilliwack Show Easter Week End under Judge Margaret Jones

MAY:   Duchess CoastalView's Simply Duchess finished up  a   ** New   Champion** BPIB/BOS/BOW/WB at the Tyee Show where we also moved her up to Specials for the remaining 3 days  of the show.  Thank you Judge  Mr Stanbridge. *Austin*   CoastalView's Smoking Hot also picked up his first points& BPIB  from Judge .Mr. W  Thompson.

 Our** Panda**  Serenity's Booty Licious was Bred to our Handsome boy** Player**  Ch. Mosaic's Double Take.

The Pre Whelp X-Ray showed 10 puppies.  Which were all born May 18'th  and well. 6 girls and 4 boys. 

At the VIDFA Dog Show  *Player * Ch. Mosaic 's Double Take  Went Best Of Breed on  Friday. Thank you Judge Cec Ringstrom.

AUGUST:  This summer was a very  special one indeed, as our two  *BIS Princess Brie**youngsters  ( Austin )CoastalView's Smoking Hot and (Memphis)  CoastalView's Simply Show Time  by  Ch. Mystic's The Show Must Go On X BIS Ch. Marpointe Simply Delicious   became New Champions(CKC pending).  Sister Duchess  Ch. CoastalView's Simply Duchess, also finished up at the May Tyee Show.   Memphis  was WM @ the SSCBC Speciality owned by Natalie Thomas of Mosaic Shelties.  I was so thrilled when Austin finished under Judge James Reynolds, making this a very Special Birthday  for myself.  Memphis  finished up to his Championship Sunday   under Judge Guy Jeavons.  Thank you to both Judges.

Our New Girl Ch. Aberdale's Heavens To Betsy  *Bella*  had a large (all Healthy)  litter of *10* Puppies Sept 7'th. (Which  was  labour Day) She was bred to our handsome young Man Player.

JANUARY:  We start our New Year off with our first litter.     Ch. Mosaic Midnight Ryder  X  BPIB CoastalView's So Much Emotion     Four puppies are Born January 13th very early in the morning.  2 Tri Males    1 Blue Merle Boy  1 Blue Merle Girl.  We sent our *Cola*    over to the Ladies KennelClub Show.  She picked up a  ****BPIG**** under Judge Mr. Jack Ireland.  Special thanks to Joanne Howe for handling Cola this day. Madeleine Gagne  **Maddia Shelties**  from Quebec,  has purchased **DEGA** Ch. Amberlyn's Spirit Of Discovery  where he  will join his daughter *Jasmine*   Thank you, Madeleine. Our  *Easy Breezy Cover Girl*   Mz Breezy    Ch. Belmark's Whispers In The Wind has now retired from Show Life and Motherhood     and has  gone to live with her new Family **The Purves** in  the quaint little  town of  beautiful Parksville.  FEBRURARY: It was A Special Valentines Day  here at CoastalView as our beautiful *Solo*    Ch. CoastalView's Solo Serenity gave birth to Two Lovely Tri  *Pop Star Grandsons*  Thank You Cathy Reid & Cindy Callaghan for taking care of Solo on her visit to Calgary.  Gabriel  *CH. Keystone Legend Has It*  will be proud of his two new sons.  First our pretty little Bi Blue girl CoastalView's Blue Taboo ( Ch. Amberlyn's Spirit Of Discovery X Ch. Belmark's Whispers In The Wind ) made her ring debut making us proud and coming away with wins in her class every day strutting her stuff around the ring. However on Sunday under Judge Mr. T. Alexander She went BPIB.  Next was *Cola*    CoastalView's Coke A Cola ( Ch. Mosaic Midnight Ryder X Ch. Sunnygate Reminis O'Marpointe ) She also won her class every day and again on Sunday she went WB & BOW under Judge Mr. T. Alexander. We would like to send a Special Thank you out to Michelle Rogowski of Cassbar Shelties who lent a helping hand at ringside for us with Cola,  funny part was she didn't have any bait and found a big rock on the ground which apparently Cola thought was just great. MARCH: CoastalView's So Much Emotion  **Neila**    has decided that the Show Ring is for *The Wild Children* of the dog community and now has taken up a new life as a Loved Companion Girl.  She has moved in with her new family and younger  sable brother Jazz  with The McKilican's  of  Maple Ridge  . Our **BIS Princess Brie**     Has gone on a Vacation as well.  She headed out to Devon, Alberta to work out with **Tracy Tuff** in preparing for the 2008 ASSA Nationals.  At  the Ocean Side Show over in Maple Ridge our sweet little  Girl   CoastalView's Blue Taboo    Took Reserve Female Saturday March 29 th.  We Thank Judge Denise Cornelssen. APRIL:  *Princess Brie*   Presented by  Tracy Tuff ------As Brie Takes **1'st Place  Novice Bitch**    2008 ASSA Nationals. MAY:   May 17'th Our lovely Princess Brie presented us with 4  babies Sired by *Huston* Ch. Mystic's The Show Must Go On.  2 Blue Merle Boys ,  1 Tri Boy & 1 Tri Female.   Special Thanks to Tracy Tuff  for the honor and privilege of using her stud dog *Huston*. JUNE: Our little Bi Blue Taboo  has moved in with her mother Breezy at John & Pat Purves home in Parksville, B.C.  She will enjpy her life as a companion to  her mother and new owners.   Ch. CoastalView's Time Traveller *Journey*      has also moved on to his new home with Carole & Dennis Walker in Port Alberni, B.C.   He still may  be specialed for a few  select shows ,  but  will  enjoy some agility & Obedience.

JULY:  CoastalView's Coke A Cola    has now gone to live with Dega and Jasmine @ Maddia Shelties with Madeleine Gagne , where she will finish up her Championship.    CoastalView's Valentino will be moving to Penticton to persue an Agility Career.

AUGUST:  We are so thrilled with our new litter from    Ch. Mosaic Minight Ryder  X  Serenity's Booty Licious.

We have **( 8 ) ** little ones  5 blue girls 2 tri girls  & 1 tri male.   Born August 25 'th.

Our Houston X Brie boy **Memphis**  has moved to his new home with Natalie Thomas of Mosaic Shelties.

OCTOBER:   Sadly our pretty little  Bi Blue  Dega X Cola  Hopeful **Freckles**  has decided she wants to be a petite puppy.

Not going to be enough for confirmation,  She has gone to live with her new owner *Dave*

NOVEMBER:  Ventured over to Cloverdale for a show where our two youngsters from Houston X Brie attended their first show. 

 **Austin** & **Duchess*   did very well and we hope to have them back at it soon.

DECEMBER: 

JANUARY:  

OUR BI BLACK BEAUTY **DEGA**  CH. AMBERLYN'S SPIRIT OF DISCOVERY  IS NOW **PROVEN** WITH HIS FIRST LITTER OF 3 PUPPIES.  BORN TO LASAIR'S STOLEN PROMISE  **KEISHA**  JANUARY 16TH.  @  LASAIR  SHELTIES. 

 WE HAVE OUR FIRST LITTER OF THE YEAR.  **BOYS, BOYS, BOYS**.   4 BOYS   (2 TRI'S)        (2 BLUE MERLES) AND JUST  1  LONE BLUE MERLE  GIRL.      5  BEAUTIFUL  PUPPIES WERE BORN  ON JANUARY 30TH. TO OUR EVER SO LOVELY **REM  REM **   CH. MOSAIC MIDNIGHT RYDER  (KOHL)  X  CH. SUNNYGATE REMINIS  O'MARPOINTE.(REMI) 

FEBRUARY: 

We were at our first show in Chilliwack for the year.  Our pretty Blue Merle Girl **Neila** went Reserve female all Three days.  But on Sunday under *Judge Mr E Mincey* she was **Best Puppy In Breed**.   She is BY:   Am. Can. JCC Grand CH. Barkley's SS Pure Soul CD   X   CH. Sunnygate Reminis O'Marpointe

MARCH:

We attended the SSCBC Speciality  as well as the regular All Breed Show in Cloverdale.   Our little Neila picked up a third place in her class but was ever so spooked at the building there.

CoastalView's Time Traveller * Journey*  went Best Bred By Exhibitor on the All Breed Show.

APRIL: 

Wow!!! We ventured to the ASSA National's in Albany, Oregon.  So many wonderful dogs and people too.  A very nice facility  for all events.  We are sover  Proud of our boy *Ch. Amberlyn's Spirit Of Discovery*  Dega*  placed  2'nd in the  Novice Class.  Dega has also had his first litter born here at CoastalView with our girl Crinan's China Doll.  There were 3 Males and 3 Females.  (1 Blue and 5 Tri's)

MAY: 

Our first show was at the Tyee Club in Mill Bay.   Our Girl *Solo* (Ch. Apple Acres X Serenity's Polar bear Fleece)  Became  Our First Homebred Champion .  We are so proud of her  now sporting  *Ch. CoastalView's Solo Serenity*  title.

At our second show  at  the Vancouver Island Dog Fanciers Association held in Saaniction at the Fair Grounds.   Our  Ch. CoastalView's Solo Serenity   *Solo* went Best of Opposite 3 of the  4 days and on the fouth exciting day under Rrspected Mrs. M. Billings. 

Our Bi Black Beauty *Ch. Amberlyn's Spirit Of Discovery* *Dega*  helped out in  Jr. Handlers with a Best Overall    1'st in their competition.

JUNE:

We are so proud that Our Girl *Solo* Ch. CoastalView's Solo Serenity (Ch. Apple Acres X Serenity's Polar Bear Fleece) was *Best Of Breed* on Sat under Judge L. Rogers. 
And on Sunday her Son CoastalView's Time Traveller  *Journey*   (AM.CAN.CH. SERENITY APPLE ACRES ICELAND X CH. COASTALVIEW'S SOLO SERENITY)   Picked up his first points with WM. under Judge W. Thompson

Wow, what a super weekend at the Nanimo Kennel Club for my Homebred *Mother & Son Duo*  Solo and Journey were *One Together* as it was their first time out as a Brace Team.  We are so Proud of them.  BBIS all three days.

In the Obedience Ring our Levi *CoastalView's Denim In Motion* earned his CKC CD Title***plus*** He also had 2 High Herding and 1 High Scoring Sheltie Awards.  Way to go Levi and owner Carole Walker. 

On Sat. Journey *CoastalView's Time Traveller*  our Tri Male out of (AM/CAN CH. Sereity Apple Acres Iceland X CH. CoastalView's Solo Serenity) Went Best Of  Winners / Best Of Breed / and then onto a Group 4'th. Placement for a 5 point win. Thank you Judge Mrs. B Derry.  He also was Best Opposite of his Mother on Sunday in which   CH. CoastalView's Solo Serenity took Breed and went onto a Gtroup 3'rd Placement.  Special Thanks to  Judge Ms. J Shrub.

JULY:

Our Bi Black Beauty -- Ch. Amberlyn's Spirit Of Discovery  **DEGA** has Sired a new Litter Of **NINE** puppies to our  Ch. Belmark's Whispers In The Wind  **Breezy**  All puppies made it and are up on our Nursery/Available Page. 2 Bi Blk Males  2 Bi Blk Females  3 Bi Bl Males   2 Bi Bl Females 

Our Beautiful  co-bred *Princess Brie* Marpointe's Simply Delicious was wonderfully handled by Mr. Rod Oishi to her Championship on the Mainland with 2 Best Of Breeds and a Group  3'rd Placement. 

AUGUST:

Thrilling and Exciting...There is  simply no other way to describe how I am feeling after our Vancouver Island Summer Show circuit starting in Campbell River next in Courtney and finally ending in Victoria.  The weather cooperated and we all had a blast. 

I am so  Very Proud of Our *Princess* *Brie* (our pay back puppy  to Marpointe) from a co-bred litter out of(  AM/CAN/JPN. CH. Barkley's SS Pure Soul CD  X  CH. Sunnygate Reminis O'Marpointe.)    Brie Captured a *Best In Show*on Sunday August 5'th with Marilyn Bernard  under  Respected Judge Guy Jeavons @ the Campbell River Dog Fanciers Society Club.   It was very heartbreaking to part with this puppy,  but I am  just so thrilled to see  how wonderfully  she has matured out, So  I give Special Thanks and Huge  Congratulations to Marilyn Bernard  for  taking  *Brie*   Marpointes Simply Delicious    All the way to  that   Special *BIS*  Place .   A very Special Day Indeed. 

 Our Mother / Son Duo * Ch. Journey &  Ch. Solo* also picked up many Best Brace In Show Ribbons as well.
